Protecting your Personal Information is of the utmost importance to Boutyah Technologies, LLC (d/b/a JIB Roadside Assistance) (together with its affiliated companies, “JIB,” “we,” “us” or “our”). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, receive, use, store, share, transfer and process your Personal Information when you visit or make a purchase from https://jibroadsideassistance.com and/or any other websites owned or controlled (or that may be owned or controlled in the future) by JIB and/or its affiliates (each, a “Website” and collectively, the “Sites”) and/or the JIB ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE mobile application and any/or other mobile applications owned or controlled (or that may be owned or controlled in the future) by JIB and/or its affiliates (the each, an “App” or an “App Site” and collectively, the “Apps” or “App Sites”), and/or that we collect, receive, use, store, share, transfer and process via devices, through written or verbal communications with us, or from other sources. This Privacy Policy also explains your rights in determining what we do with your Personal Information that we collect or hold.
By using JIB’s services, you affirm that you have read the terms and conditions of this Privacy Policy and that you understand, agree that we may use data as set out in this Privacy Policy and to be bound by, and acknowledge all the terms contained herein. If you do not agree to be bound by the terms of this Privacy Policy, then do not use JIB’s services.
PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT
When you visit the Sites/Apps, purchase or attempt to purchase something from us, and/or use any of our associated features, functionalities, user interfaces, downloads, applications and/or other online services which are owned and controlled by us, we may have collected certain information that, on its own or when combined with other information, identifies or could reasonably identify you (“Personal Information”), including, but not limited to:
- Identifiers, which include your name, postal address, billing address, shipping address, email address, date of birth, unique personal identifiers, online identifiers, your web browser type, software versions, IP address, account name, driver’s license number, social security number, social media information, other government issued identification information and other similar identifiers, and time zone and location, as well as some of the cookies that are installed on your device. We collect identifiers such as name, address and contact information in order to provide you with our services. We may also collect your driver’s license in connection with the use of certain products. In addition, we obtain identifiers such as username or ID, passwords and similar credentials when you create an account with us to access our services or when you communicate with us via social media, as well as your IP address, unique device identifiers, hardware models, mobile operating systems, and Wi-Fi and/or mobile network when you visit our Sites/Apps for a number of reasons, including tracking how you engage with our services and the Sites/Apps in particular, and monitoring visitor traffic to the Sites/Apps to ensure the security and integrity of our systems.
- The following categories of Personal Information described in California Civil Code § 1798.80(e): (1) the Identifiers listed above; (2) signature, (3) telephone number, (4) payment information* (which may include bank account number, credit or debit card number, and/or digital wallets/payment account information, although please note that we partner with third-party payment processors to collect and process your payments), (5) automobile insurance policy number, (6) information obtained in connection with a credit check (if applicable in connection with services obtained from us), including financial information and education, employment and employment history.
- Commercial information, including records of services obtained from JIB and information about your purchasing preferences, such as information about when and where payment transactions occur and information about the transacting parties.
- Internet or other electronic network activity information, including, but not limited to, browsing history, search history, and information regarding your interactions with our Sites/Apps and advertisements, including what websites or search terms referred you to the Sites/Apps, as well as information regarding your interactions with other applications, advertisements, or websites (including the websites you came from before you visited our Sites/Apps, the websites you visit when you leave our Sites/Apps, and the number of times you accessed these websites). We use this information to serve you with tailored advertising content. - Geolocation data
- Certain information required by third-party payment providers to conduct and execute a money transfer or use other payment services and to enable us to comply with our legal obligations associated with transferring money. Failure to provide some of your Personal Information may affect our ability to provide our services to you. This may include information about the form of identification used to send or receive a transaction (where required by law) including the identification or a copy of the identification document, transaction activity, bank account and payment information.
- Compliance information, including fraud prevention, identity verification, and sanity checks in order that we can check that you are using our services legally, that you are eligible for our services you want to use, and to protect your data and our services from fraud. To do this, we may collect data about you from companies that help us verify your identity, prevent fraud or assess risk.
- Audio information from calls made to our team, which may be recorded and electronic information in the form of Internet or other electronic network activity information as described above.
- Professional or employment-related information, in the form of business contact information and as noted above in connection with credit checks performed in connection with certain services.
- Inferences drawn from (1) the information we collect when you visit our Sites/Apps, when you use our services, (2) information we collect, including through third-party suppliers, regarding content and other data posted on the Internet (such as public locations on the Internet), and (3) information about consumer preferences and behavior that we collect on our Sites/Apps or purchase from third parties in order to create a profile about a consumer reflecting the consumer’s preferences, characteristics, predispositions, behavior, and attitudes.
- Other information you may choose to provide, such as information you voluntarily provide to us, including information provided in response to surveys and/or information provided when submitting any reviews or comments regarding our products or services; participation in promotions, suggestions for improvements, or any other actions you perform using our services.
Unless otherwise stated, we intend to retain the above information for as long as reasonably necessary to complete the purpose(s) for which Personal Information was collected.
As you navigate through and interact with the Sites/Apps, we may use automatic data collection technologies to collect certain information about your devices, online activities, and/or browsing actions and patterns. We refer to this automatically-collected information as “Device Information.”
HOW WE COLLECT YOUR INFORMATION
We collect your Personal Information in different ways. We collect Personal Information directly or through third parties using the following technologies and/or methods:
– Directly from you, for example, when you (i) sign up to receive our communications, (ii) participate in one of our promotions, surveys, or other questionnaires, (iii) submit a request to our team, and/or (iv) interact with our social media pages.
– From third parties with your consent or as permitted by applicable law, including receiving Personal Information from (i) our business partners, such as companies that co-sponsor our promotions, (ii) our service providers, including data analytic providers, internet service providers, operating systems and platforms, and online advertising networks, and/or (iii) social media sites, such as Facebook, X (formerly known as Twitter), YouTube, LinkedIn, and Instagram.
– By combining information, for example, by combining Personal Information (i) that we collect offline with information we collect through our services, (ii) we collect about you from the different devices you use to access our services, and (iii) we get from third parties with Personal Information we already have about you.
– “Cookies” are small text data files that often include an anonymous unique identifier and that are placed on your device or computer hard drive that we and our third-party services providers place on your device in order to recognize your device and collect Device Information, for security purposes, and to enable you to use our services, as well as for market research related purposes. Storage of certain data, cookies and other tracking technologies serve crucial functions for websites. – “Log files” track actions occurring on the Sites/Apps, and collect data including your IP address, browser type, Internet service provider, referring/exit pages, and date/time stamps.
– “Web beacons,” “clear gifs,” “tags,” “pixels,” “pixel tags” and “single-pixel gifs” are small electronic files with unique identifiers used to record information about how you browse the Sites/Apps.
Additionally, when you make a purchase or attempt to make a purchase through the Sites/Apps, we automatically collect certain information from you, including, as described above, your name, billing address, shipping address, payment information (including credit card numbers, email address, and phone number. We refer to this information as “Order Information.”
COOKIES AND LINKED SITES
Cookies. Some content or applications on the Sites/Apps, including advertisements, are served by third parties, including advertisers, ad networks and servers, content providers, social media networks, and application providers. These third parties may use cookies, alone or in conjunction with web beacons or other tracking technologies, to collect information about you when you use the Sites/Apps. The information they collect may be associated with your Personal Information or they may collect information, including Personal Information, about your online activities over time and across different websites and other online services. They may use this information to provide you with interest-based advertising or other targeted content. We do not control these third parties’ tracking technologies or how they may be used. Linked Sites. This Privacy Policy does not address, and we are not responsible for, the privacy or other information practices of any third parties, including any third party operating any site or service to which our services link. The Sites/Apps may include links to other websites or content that belong to third parties whose privacy practices may differ from ours. The inclusion of a link on our services does not imply endorsement of the linked site or service by us. If you submit Personal Information to any of those websites, your information is governed by their privacy policies. We are not responsible for the information collection, use, disclosure or security policies or practices of other organizations, such as Facebook, Apple, Google, Microsoft, LinkedIn, or any other app developer, app provider, social media platform provider, operating system provider, wireless service provider or device manufacturer, including with respect to any Personal Information you disclose, whether voluntarily or involuntarily, to other organizations through or in connection with our services. We encourage you to review the privacy policies associated with those third parties.
HOW DO WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?
Generally, we may use Personal Information we collect:
- To collect any applicable fees related to our services.
- To verify your identity and the validity of any payment account information you provide to us. We may combine this information with information collected from online and offline sources or information we already have.
- To understand your interests, including to better understand what features in our services interest you.
- To provide customer and account services such as notices regarding products and services or your account/subscription, including expiration and renewal notices, unless you opt out of receiving these notices in the manner provided by CHOICES ABOUT HOW WE USE AND DISCLOSE YOUR INFORMATION below.
- To comply with applicable laws, cooperate with investigations by law enforcement, and/or pursue our legal rights, including performing and enforcing our contractual obligations and rights, such as billing and collection.
- For security purposes, including protecting us, the consumers who use our services, and/or our services themselves, including the Sites/Apps.
- Conduct surveys, research and evaluations.

- As otherwise permitted by law.
- For any other purpose to which you explicitly consent.
Specifically, we may use the Order Information that we collect generally to provide our services through the Sites/Apps (including processing your payment information and providing you with confirmations). Additionally, we use this Order Information to:
- Communicate with you, including about your account or our relationship, about this Privacy Policy, and/or to respond to your feedback, complaints, and requests for more information; • Screen our orders for potential risk or fraud; and
- When in line with the preferences you have shared with us, provide you with information and/or tailor our marketing and advertising relating to our products or services to you, including information, marketing and/or advertising related to new features or services that we may develop in the future. We and our partners may engage in interest-based advertising, or targeted advertising, using data and Personal Information gathered across multiple businesses, websites, devices, applications, services, or other platforms. Additionally, we specifically may use the Device Information that we collect to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to provide, develop, enhance, improve, optimize, and market our Sites/Apps (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the Sites/Apps, and to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns) and/or services that you request from us.
We only process your Personal Information when we have a legal basis to do so in accordance with applicable laws. The legal grounds we rely on to use your Personal Information are:
- it is necessary for our legitimate interest and does not unduly affect your interests or fundamental rights and freedoms (for example, to let you know about certain services you may be interested in, to carry out market research, or to share your Personal Information with our third-party service providers to help us provide our services, sell and operate our services);
- it is necessary for legal and/or regulatory obligations or requests that we are subject to, such as complying with anti-money laundering and anti-fraud laws or providing information to a public body or law enforcement agency; it is necessary to perform contractual obligations that we owe to you (for example, if you use our services, we will need to use your Personal Information to process payments, or in connection with the Terms and Conditions which apply to the supply and use of our services) or to take pre-contractual steps at your request; in some cases, we have obtained your prior consent. SHARING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
We may disclose aggregated information about our users, and information that does not identify any individual, without restriction.
We may share your Personal Information as described in this Privacy Policy to and/or for the following:
- Our subsidiaries and affiliates.
- Buyers or any other successors to all or party of our business or one of our brands in the event of an assessment of or actual merger, divestiture, restructuring, corporate reorganization, dissolution, other sale or transfer of some or all of our assets or brands, or other change of control, whether as a going concern or as part of bankruptcy, liquidation or similar proceeding, in which Personal Information held by us is among the assets or brands transferred as part of such a transaction or as a stand-alone asset. You hereby consent to such transfers and we may assign and transfer all of the rights, benefits, duties, and obligations of this Privacy Policy, under the circumstances described in this paragraph.
- Government entities or other parties, including but not limited to government agencies or investigatory bodies, to comply with court order, applicable laws and regulations, or legal process, including responding to a government, court, regulatory or other lawful request including, but not limited to, a subpoena or search warrant.
- Government entities (including but not limited to government agencies), third-party cybersecurity experts, or other parties as necessary and appropriate to ensure the security and integrity of our networks, or otherwise protect or assess the rights, privacy, property, or safety of JIB, our employees and personnel associated with us, our customers, our business partners, or others, such as with third-party accountants or outside legal counsel.
- Third-party entities to enforce or apply our Terms and Conditions and other agreements, or otherwise protect or assert our legal rights, including for billing and collection purposes. - Such other purposes as you may consent.
- For other reasons we may describe to you.
We may also disclose your Personal Information with your consent or for any other purpose disclosed by us when you provide such Personal Information.
We may also share your Personal Information with third-party data analytics providers who collect Personal Information about users over time and across different websites, applications, and devices for the purpose of targeted advertising. Third-party data analytics providers may also collect Personal
Information in this way on our Sites/Apps. These practices may be considered a “sale” of Personal Information under some state laws. If you do not want your Personal Information shared with third parties in the ways described above, you should not use our services.
CHOICES ABOUT HOW WE USE AND DISCLOSE YOUR INFORMATION
We strive to provide you with choices regarding the personal information you provide to us. We have created mechanisms to provide you with the following control over your information:
- Marketing Communications. You can opt-out of receiving our marketing communications. Note that you will still receive transactional messages from us, including information about your account and responses to your inquiries. To opt-out of receiving our marketing communications, you can follow the instructions included with the communication.
- Cookies, Other Tracking Technologies and Advertising. We use cookies, as well as pixel tags, web beacons, and other tracking technologies for many reasons, like understanding how you engage with this website. If you prefer not to share this data, you can set your browser to refuse all or some browser cookies, or to alert you when cookies are being sent. - Promotional Offers from JIB. If you do not wish to have your Personal Information used by JIB to promote our own or third parties’ products or services, you can opt-out by contacting our us (see HOW TO EXERCISE THESE RIGHTS or CONTACT US below for details on how to contact us). If we have sent you a promotional e-mail, you may send us a return e-mail asking to be omitted from future e-mail distributions. This opt out does not apply to information provided to JIB as a result of a service purchase, service experience or other transactions.
- Targeted Advertising. If you do not want us to use information that we directly or indirectly collect or that you provide to us to deliver our advertisements according to our advertisers’ target-audience preferences, you can opt-out by contacting us (see HOW TO EXERCISE THESE RIGHTS or CONTACT US below for details on how to contact us). For this opt-out to function, you must have your browser set to accept browser cookies. DO NOT TRACK
Please note that we do not alter our Site’s/App’s data collection and use practices when we see a Do Not Track signal from your browser.
YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS
You may have the following rights (“Data Subject Rights”) in relation to the Personal Information that we collect or process about you. We will honor your request to the extent required by applicable law and will make a good faith effort to honor your request in all other cases.
If you or your authorized agent wish to exercise any of the below Data Subject Rights, please contact us via at the information provided in CONTACT US below. Before responding to your request to exercise Data Subject Rights, we may require additional information (potentially including Personal Information) from you to verify your identity or clarify your specific request. We will try to comply with your request as soon as reasonably practicable and in compliance with applicable law. Where appropriate, we will work with third parties in order to fulfil your request. If you disagree with our response to your request, you may appeal the request by submitting supporting documentation to support@jibroadsideassistance.com.
With respect to deletion requests, we cannot delete your Personal Information except by also deleting your user account. We may not accommodate a request to change information if we believe the change would violate any law or legal requirement or cause the information to be incorrect.
Furthermore, when we share information for purposes of targeted advertising or advertising networks, such sharing may be considered a “sale” of information under some state laws. You may request to opt out of such sharing of information (see HOW TO EXERCISE THESE RIGHTS or CONTACT US below).
You can update the Personal Information you provide by contacting us (see CONTACT US below), or, when available, by logging in to your JIB user account with your username and password. If you update information, we may keep a copy of the prior version for our records.
HOW TO EXERCISE THESE RIGHTS
We will not send you communications without first receiving your permission, unless it relates to servicing your account, providing our services, or unless you have consented to receiving communications. It is our policy to for our communications to include instructions for opting out from receiving targeted advertising/marketing communications. You may follow the instructions included with such communications to opt out, such as by following unsubscribe or opt out links. If you unsubscribe from receiving targeted advertising/marketing communications, we may still send you transactional (non-advertising/marketing) communications, if applicable. Transactional communications include emails about your accounts and our business dealings with you that are necessary for providing our services to you.
Alternatively, you may request to opt out of receiving advertising/marketing communications by:

Please note that we may take steps to verify your identity before granting you access to information or acting on your request to exercise your rights, as required or permitted by law. We may limit our response to your exercise of the above rights as permitted by law.
You may designate an authorized agent to exercise the foregoing rights on your behalf. An agent may be an individual or a business entity registered with your Secretary of State. To designate an authorized agent, you must provide the agent with written permission to submit the request. We may still require you to verify your identity directly (subject to certain exceptions). We may refuse a request if the agent does not provide adequate proof of their authorization.
DATA SECURITY
The security of your Personal Information is important to us. We have implemented commercially reasonable administrative, physical, technical, and procedural safeguards to help protect against unauthorized access to, disclosure, loss, misuse, and/or alteration of your Personal Information, both during transmission and once it is in our custody or control. For example, we require our payment processing merchants to comply with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards. Moreover, we require that any third parties that process your information on our behalf comply with a comprehensive set of security requirements. Unfortunately, no data transmission or storage system is guaranteed to be 100% secure and we cannot guarantee that your Personal Information will never be disclosed in a manner inconsistent with this Privacy Policy (for example, as a result of unauthorized acts by third parties that violate applicable law or relevant website policies). If you have any questions about the security of your Personal Information or if you have reason to believe that your interaction with us is no longer secure (for example, if you feel that the security of your account has been compromised), please immediately notify us in accordance with CONTACT US below.
You may need to register for an account to use all or part of our services. When you do, you will be asked to select a password to help protect your information. These passwords help us verify your identity before granting access or making corrections to any of your Personal Information. You should never disclose your password to anyone and you should not use the same password for other websites. We will never ask you for your password in an unsolicited phone call or e-mail. You are responsible for maintaining the secrecy of your passwords and account information.
DATA RETENTION
As our operations are conducted from the United States, all Personal Information that we collect is used and stored in the United States, is subject to United States laws, and may be subject to disclosure to United States governments, courts, law enforcement, or regulatory agencies pursuant to those laws. Your Personal Information is stored by JIB on its servers, and on the servers of the cloud-based database management services JIB engages, located in the United States. If you are using our services, including accessing the Sites/Apps, from or in another country, please note that your Personal Information will be transmitted to our servers in the United States as necessary to provide you with the information that you requested, administer our services to you, or as otherwise disclosed in this Privacy Policy.
Your Personal Information will be stored for as long as your account is active, but will not be stored for longer than necessary for the purposes for which they were collected, as required by our legal and regulatory obligations, to provide you with our services, to resolve disputes, to enforce our agreements,
or to fulfill your requests or inquiries. Our retention policies reflect applicable local statute of limitation periods and legal requirements.
CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 18
The content of the Sites/Apps is not intended for individuals under the age of 18. JIB does not market products or services to this age group, and does not knowingly collect or solicit Personal Information from children under 18 or knowingly allow such persons to use our services. If you are under 18, do not use or provide any information on the Sites/Apps or on or through any of its features or register on the Sites/Apps, make any purchases through the Sites/Apps, or provide any information about yourself to us, including your name, address, telephone number, e-mail address or any screen name or username you may use. If we learn we have collected or received Personal Information from a child under 18 without verification of parental consent, we will delete that information. CHANGES
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons. As required by law, when we make material changes to this Privacy Policy, we will post a link to the revised Privacy Policy on the homepage of our Sites/Apps, and if you have registered for any of our services or have an account with us, we may also inform you through a communications channel that you have provided. If you do not accept the material change after we notify you of such updates, please immediately stop using our services. If you continue to use our services, you agree to be bound by the amended Privacy Policy.
The date the Privacy Policy was last revised is identified at the top of the page. Any changes to this Privacy Policy will become effective upon posting of the revised Privacy Policy on the Sites/Apps. You agree to review this Privacy Policy periodically so that you are aware of any amendments.

Glossary
Controller – the natural or legal person, public authority, agency, or other body which, alone or jointly with others, determines the purposes and means of the processing of personal data
Cookies – a small file that is stored on a Site user’s computer for record-keeping purposes (session cookies make it easier to navigate within a site and expires when the browser is closed; persistent cookies remain on the hard drive for an extended period of time and can be used when the user returns to the site for identification and log in)
Customer – party to which JIB Roadside Assistance directly provides Service, as prescribed in the Service Agreement
End User – any person whose Personal Information is being collected, stored, or processed on behalf of the Customer
Personal Information – information that can be used, individually or in aggregate, to distinguish or trace the identity of an individual, including but not limited to:
- first and last name
- physical address
- email address
- telephone number
- social security number
- birthdate
- details of physical appearance
- any other information stored online that may identify an individual
Under the CCPA, Personal Information also includes family or household data
Platform – environment in which a piece of software is executed
Processor – the natural or legal person, public authority, agency or other body which processes personal data on behalf of the controller
Service – the executed performance of the Service Agreement, signed by JIB Roadside Assistance and the Customer
