Insurance Protection

Drivers rate passengers after each service delivery, so you’ve always got a say. We also require passengers to provide valid credit card information for identity verification purposes.
HOW IT WORKS
Get signed up
Download the app and apply to become a service technician (click here for requirements).
Get approved
Once approved, set up your profile, and confirm how you want to get paid in your dashboard.
Get gigs
Receive gigs that are within 15 minutes of your location and perform the service request(s).
Get paid
At the end of each service, rate your customer and even receive tips directly in the app.
Our Expectations
After getting to our customers in 15 minutes or less, roadside techs are expected to be able to provide the following roadside and mobility services:
- Battery Test, Boost or Replacement Services
- Fuel Delivery Service
- Tire change or tire inflation Services
- Vehicle Lock-Out Services
- Minor Mechanical First Aid
Driver requirements
- Valid driver’s license — Temporary or out-of-state licenses are also acceptable
- 25 or older
- Pass driver screening (reviews your driving history and criminal background check)
- Any smartphone that can download and run the JIB Roadside Technician Driver app
Vehicle requirement
- 2003 or newer
- Valid license plate
- Standard insurance included
- Roadside Kit (see example)
Document requirements
- Proof of vehicle insurance
- Proof of vehicle registration
- Driver profile photo
Our Expectations
After getting to our customers in 15 minutes or less, towing techs are expected to be able to provide the following roadside and mobility services:
- Towing
- Battery Test, Boost or Replacement Services
- Fuel Delivery Service
- Tire change or tire inflation Services
- Vehicle Lock-Out Services
- Extrication & Winching
- Minor Mechanical First Aid

- Tow truck (2003 or newer)

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQ)
Earning is unlimited and based on your flexibility and availability.
You will need a Roadside Kit similar to the one below including a 5-ton electric car jack, impact wrench, gas / diesel containers, tire inflator, & battery clamp charger. 
That is your personal choice. Service can be provided with any registered vehicle, as long as you can demonstrate proof of insurance.

There are local and jurisdictional requirements that will need to be observed. JIB will provide guidance through the JIB app.
Vehicle inspections and maintenance are highly encouraged.
